We are pleased to announce the opening of Erbessd Colombia, our new branch located in the city of Barranquilla, which will begin operations in July 2025. This opening marks a strategic milestone in our mission to get closer to our customers around the world, to listen to them directly, and to offer personalized, reliable, and timely support.
At Erbessd Instruments, we have been developing innovative solutions in Vibration Analysis, Condition Monitoring, and Balancing Machines for over two decades. Today, with a consolidated presence in Mexico, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, India, and now Colombia, we continue our global expansion with a clear purpose: to be closer to our users and their real needs.
Meet the Team
Erbessd Instruments Colombia will operate from Barranquilla, equipped with highly trained technical personnel and a focus on quality, innovation, and service.
Starting in July, our customers in Colombia and throughout South America will have a direct service point for specialized technical support in vibration and balancing, fast delivery of equipment and spare parts, preventive and corrective maintenance, on-site demonstrations, and post-sale support to maximize the reliability and productivity of their industrial assets.
Eng. Jairo Silva: Leadership and experience at the helm of Erbessd Colombia
Engineer Jairo Silva is a renowned Colombian entrepreneur with a formidable background in Mechanical Engineering, and over 20 years of experience in the industrial maintenance industry.
As the founder and General Director of Colturbinas, a leading company in the manufacturing of large-scale industrial turbines, Eng. Silva has positioned himself as a key figure in the technological development of predictive maintenance in Colombia and throughout Latin America.
Throughout his career, he has gained solid expertise in the design, calculation, assembly, and commissioning of industrial machinery, as well as in the planning and execution of complex maintenance projects. His innovative vision led him to create a company that today is the national benchmark in turbine manufacturing and heavy industry solutions.
Eng. Silva has received specialized training in Mexico, Colombia, and other countries, participating in hundreds of high-level projects in industries such as power generation, mining, oil and gas, and general manufacturing. His comprehensive technical profile includes advanced knowledge in:
