SBS-Series™

Overview

SBS-300 is a soft-bearing balancing module that lets the rotor move freely on a single axis. Every element is designed to minimise mechanical losses so sensitivity behaves as if the rotor were suspended in mid-air, enabling dynamic balances below operational speed without sacrificing precision and quality.

The suspension allows the rotor to spin around its centre of gravity instead of its geometric centre. Displacement is measured by accelerometers fixed to the 1/4-28 UNF threaded hole on the SBS-300.

With the downloadable technical drawings you can build your own DIY balancing machine — saving up to 70 % vs. a comparable-capacity off-the-shelf machine, while adapting dimensions to your space.
